A Sewing Party
When we have big orders to fill or our inventory of bags gets low, we get together for a sewing party.
We make all of our bags ourselves and all of us agree that it's much more fun when we work together as a team.
In this picture, Donna and Wendy are sewing the top seam on grocery bags while Leon cuts handles.
Here's Wendy sewing the top seam on a grocery bag and Leon working at one of our sergers. We have discovered that we can laugh and still get lots done.
Whenever we work as a team it seems like, before we know it, several hours have passed and we have a big pile of bags.
Here's a closeup of Leon sergering the side seam of a wine bag. Usually, during our sewing parties, we keep things interesting by switching jobs. Although Leon can do all of the jobs, we all agree that he's our champion serger.
I notice that the pictures don't line up well on systems that have a higher resolution than my home computer. I'll fix this layout problem when I get home this evening.
